W Hodgson was established in 1916 as a family-business, by Samuel Cornelius Hodgson, in the fishing port of Hartlepool, when it was mainly Whiting, Haddock, Cod and Plaice which dominated the slabs. Today the business is run by Peter and Jill Hodgson with the support of their father, Alan. They have built an enviable reputation as an excellent supplier of quality, fresh fish to some of the most renowned hotels and restaurants in the north of England, who trust us to deliver the freshest fish and shellfish on time, every time.
